I was born in Iowa, moved to Arizona, and came to Dallas in 1980. I received a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa. I received my MA in Human Development with Kindergarten certification from the University of Texas at Dallas. I have taught 2nd grade for 5 years and Kindergarten for 26 years! I spent 21 years at Bowie Elementary in RISD. I am beginning my 4th year here at All Saints! I am married with three grown children and six grandchildren.
