Mrs. Herbst and Mrs. Scaggs are your All
Saints Librarians. Mrs. Herbst returns
for her fourth year at ASCS. She shares
her love of books and information with grades 4 through 8 and works on Mondays
and Tuesdays. Mrs. Scaggs, in her second
year at All Saints, works on Wednesdays and Thursdays and is the librarian for
kindergarten through third grade. Mrs. Scaggs also coordinates the
K-2nd grade Accelerated Reader and the 3rd-6th
grade Bluebonnet Award programs.
Together, Mrs. Herbst and Mrs. Scaggs strive to develop and promote the love of reading for learning and for pleasure, and to provide a learning program and resources in support of information literacy. In addition to print materials, the library also provides access to proven electronic resources from credible publishers and teaches students how to critically examine the sources of the information they use.
