Mission Statement

Living Matrimony is a parish-based program for married couples to gather together to strengthen their marriages through Christ.  The purpose of Living Matrimony is to form a small community in which couples can focus on their love for God and each other as couples.  Christ brought us together and He wants us to succeed.  If he is at the center of our relationship, we cannot fail.

What couples can expect to get out of Living Matrimony:

• Strengthen your relationship with your spouse through Christ

• Have fun and fellowship!

• Couple time with baby-sitting provided

• Build relationships with active Catholic couples

• Personal sharing

• Learn valuable parenting and spousal skills from talks and sharing ideas with other couples

Living Matrimony aims to be both contemplative and conquering.  Contemplative in helping couples grow in their faith and prayer lives.  Conquering in motivating couples to more actively live their faith in their marriage, their parish, and in the world.  What pastors can expect to see from Living Matrimony:

• Couples more actively living their Catholic faith

• Couples becoming more active in parish life

• Couples becoming more open to the full teachings of the Catholic Church

• Couples growing in love for each other and for their children
