2008 Summer Camps
All Saints Catholic School

Fiesta Fun by Vanina: July 7^th - 18^th or July 21^st - 25^th
Hours: 3:30pm - 5:00pm. Ages: 5 - 14.
Enjoy learning and enriching Spanish with games, music, cooking, and more. Each day will be a fiesta! Each camp is different. July 21st-25th fiesta camp is for grades 6 - 12. Checks may payable to Vanina Saltzman.
Cost: $250 July 7^th - 18^th. $125 for July 21^st - 25^th.

Woody's All Star Soccer Camp: June 9^th - 13^th or June 23^rd - 27^th. Ages: 5 - 11. Woody's camp for select soccer players is July 14^th - 18^th . Ages: 10 - 14
Hours: 9am - 12pm. Players will have fun interacting with skills, drills, and games. Terry Woodberry is well known from the Dallas Sidekicks. Patrick Shamu from the Sidekicks will be also be coaching the camp. Special visitors from FC Dallas will attend the camps with games and inspirational talks. Checks made payable to Terry Woodberry.
Cost: $105 per camp.

Baby and Child Care Classes: June 16 - 27, July 14 - 25
Hours 10am - 12pm Ages: 11 - 15
Learn how to care for babies and young children. CPR, first aid, changing, feeding, safety, playtime and more are taught in this course. Children will even learn from a real baby. Supplies included. Checks made payable to Jennifer Meyer.
Cost: $320 per session.

Let's Get Writing: June 30^th - July 18^th
Hours: 12:30pm - 2:30pm Grades/ Ages: 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th
Enhance writing skills and fluency! Each day students will choose a different writing style, edit their work, and publish their own book! Students will create their own story with illustrations that will be published! This is a wonderful keepsake! Checks made payable to Laura Crocco.
Cost: Program $450 + $50 registration fee + $50 supply fee.

Summer Strings: June 16^th- 20^th or June 23^rd-27^th.
Hours: 9:30am - 11:30am Ages: 3^rd grade - high school
Summer Intermediate Orchestra open to all string players. (violins, violas, cellos, and basses) Music will be provided. There will be a concert each Friday. Checks made payable to Shana Druffner.
Cost: $125 per session.

Abrakadoodle Museum Mystery Tour: June 23^rd- 27^th
Hours: 9am - 12pm Ages: 6-12 yrs.
Virtual tours to museums around the world where students learn new techniques in art, facts and students create their own art master piece! Checks made payable to Abrakadoodle.
Cost: $150 + $35 material fee.

Abrakadoodle Safari: July l4^th-18^th
Hours: 9am - 12pm Ages: 6-12 yrs.
Off on a Safari you go creating cats, monkey's, elephants and more! Students enjoy Safari arts with paints, modeling materials, animal print paper and more. Games and music included. Safari kit included for the explorers to take home and have more Safari fun! Checks made payable to Abrakadoodle.
Cost: $150 + $35 material fee.

Abrakadoodle Anime: August 11^th - 15^th
Hours: 9am - 12pm Ages: 8 - 14yrs.
This Japanese art of animation teaches the basics of head, facial features and body motion. Students will create their own Anime characters. A guide book is included to help create all your favorite characters. Checks made payable to Abrakadoodle.
Cost: $150 + $35 material fee.

Let's Go To The Beach! June 16^th - July 4^th
Hours: 8am - 10am. Children entering kindergarten and an enrichment for first grade.
Children entering into kindergarten engage in literature games, theme play centers, puppet centers, math puzzles, problem solving games and much more! Children entering first grade who need extra help for first grade or an enrichment, the teachers and activities will be met for your child's needs. Teachers: Mary Tanner and Lindsay Leach. Checks made payable to Mary Tanner.
Cost: $550 for the program. $50 supply fee.

Leap into first grade! June 30^th - July 18^th
Hours: 8:30am - 11:30am
Children will engage in exciting hands on curriculum with reading, math, science, social studies in small group lesson's as well as one on one. Children will focus on organization and time management. Checks mad payable to Laura Crocco.
Cost: $500 for the program $50 supply fee and $50 registration fee.

Summer Magical Journey: June 30^th - July 11^th
Hours: 9am - 12pm Children entering second, third and fourth grades.
Children will enjoy small group enhancing skills in math, reading, literature, geography, and science. A play production and a reception will be held on the last day! Checks made payable to Karen Beacham.
Cost: $500 for the program $50 registration fee $50 supply fee.

Summer Band Camp: June 16^th - 20^th and June 23^rd - 27^th
Hours: 9:30am - 11:30am Ages: 10 - 14yrs.
Student musicians will work on tone productions, technique, ensemble blend, rehearsal strategies, sighting and more! Checks made payable to Michael Medrick.
Cost: $125 per session.

Chamberlain Studios Martial Arts: July 7^th - 11^th , July 21^st - 25^th
Hours: 9am - 12noon Ages: 6 - 12
Program involves children's self defense methods by use of mixed martial arts. The program includes games and art. Checks made payable to Chamberlain Studios.
Cost: $150 per session.

Great Writing Doesn't Have To Be A Mystery! June 9^th - 28^th
Hours: 9am - 12noon Ages: 11 - 14
Come learn the tricks of great writing while having fun! Learn the steps in writing and how your favorite writer used these to catch you as a reader! Checks are payable to Linda Watts.
Cost: $550 plus $50 supply fee.

ISEE Preparation! July 8^th - 26^th
Hours: 9am - 12noon or 12:30pm - 3:30pm Ages: 12 - 14
Review basic ISEE skills, test taking strategies, and relief of test anxiety. Checks are made payable to Linda Watts.
Cost: $550 plus $50 supplies and ISEE book.

Around The World In 15 Days! June 9^th - 28^th
Hours: 12:30p - 3:30p Ages: 10 - 13
In 15 days a different country will be visited! Have fun jumping into art, architecture, and culture! Checks are made payable to Linda Watts.
Cost: $550 plus $50 supply fee.

Volleyball Camp: June 16^th - 20^th
Hours: 9:00am - 10:00am mini volleyball Ages: 7 - 10
Beginners learn basic fundamentals in their development.
Hours: 10am - 12noon Just Fundamentals Ages: 11 - 13
Works on individual performance, unique training, and performance analyses. Classes taught by Celine Drewnick who is two time Olympic and professional player.
Cost: $165 Mini Volleyball, $295 Volleyball Fundamentals

Billy Brent's Speed Agility Quickness Camp:
June 17^th - August 7^th. 6:00pm - 7:30pm Ages: 10 - 14yrs.
Billy Brent's SAQ 8 week program is an excellent conditioning program for athletes in all areas playing in sports. Athletes will build speed and quickness in performance, learn to balance themselves, healthy meals, and learn the importance of hydration.
Cost: $320
