The Lumen Christi Council of the Knights of Columbus serves the parish of All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas, Texas. The Grand Knight for the fraternal year 2009-2010 is Chris Diaz. Our business meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the third Monday of every month in Fellowship Hall at All Saints Kamel Life Center, 5231 Meadowcreek Drive located on the northwest corner of Meadowcreek and Arapaho in North Dallas. Prior to the business meeting we gather with our Ladies Auxiliary for a community meal at 6:30 PM.
An additional meeting - planning; program or exemplification - is held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30 PM in the same location unless otherwise noted.
Officer's meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the first Wednesday of the month in the St. Theresa Room.
Program Director's / Committee Chairman's meetings are held on the secnd Monday of the month at 7:00 PM in Kamel Life Center Room 11 on an as needed basis.
The council activities include many functions that assist All Saints Parish and its many ministries. The planning calendar lists the activities that have been scheduled based on our yearly planning and budget meeting held in June and voted on by the council at our July business meeting. Many of our activities fall under one of the following program areas...Council, Church, Community, Family and Youth. Fund raising events and membership drives allow us to build our resource pool - both with manpower and dollars. Business, planning and fellowship rounds our the calendar.
